Each of us, at some time, will face the death of a loved one. A funeral or memorial service provides the opportunity to honor the life of this person in a unique way. Its purpose is help those left behind find solace in their bereavement and closure with the beloved who has died.
Funeral ceremonies are a reflection of our spiritual beliefs, though not necessarily dependent on specific religious practices. A memorial service written from the heart will provide the structure for grieving family and friends to give expression to the meaning of their relationship with their loved one. It will help provide a sense of completion and deep healing for the soul.
I will work closely with the family of the deceased to plan a funeral or memorial that will help achieve these goals and will be a true testament to the life of their beloved. Beautiful music, prayers, poems and testimonials can all be incorporated into the service.
“When we plan the details of the service, we can fully embrace and experience the funeral as an expression of our grief, hopes and joy of having lived with our beloved.” -Jeanne Daly McIntee
